Luxury Desert Expedition - Total Solar Eclipse 2027

Egypt | 27 July – 3 August 2027
Egypt has waited over sixty years for a total solar eclipse — and on August 2, 2027, it returns.
For Dabuka, this is more than a rare astronomical event: it's a reason to bring together everything we know about this land — its quietest corners, its deepest history, and its most spectacular skies — into a single, carefully crafted journey.
Away from the crowds, in the heart of the desert, totality becomes something you don't just witness, but experience.

Total Solar Eclipse at Abu Mohareq Dunes – Glamping Experience
Experience the 2027 total solar eclipse from one of Egypt’s most remote and spectacular desert locations: the Abu Mohareq Dunes. Far from crowds and light pollution, this is a place where the vast silence of the desert meets one of nature’s rarest events.
Our fully equipped glamping setup ensures comfort without compromising the authenticity of the desert experience. Enjoy a carefully prepared base camp with all essentials in place, allowing you to focus entirely on the moment.
At this location, the eclipse reaches an exceptional duration of totality of 6 minutes and 22.8 seconds, with the entire eclipse lasting 2 hours, 46 minutes, and 13.4 seconds.
Eclipse timings (local time):
Partial eclipse begins: 08:31:46
Total eclipse begins: 09:52:49
Maximum eclipse: 09:56:08
Total eclipse ends: 09:59:12
Partial eclipse ends: 11:18:00
Watching the sky darken over the endless dunes, as temperatures drop and the desert falls silent, is an experience that is difficult to describe—and impossible to forget.
