The Geminids are famous for their bright, multicoloured meteors and one of the highest hourly rates of any annual shower — and with zero light pollution, the Western Desert offers one of the clearest skies on Earth to watch them fall.
With the Moon at a thin waxing crescent this year, the sky stays completely dark all night for the Geminids’ peak — one of the best lunar conditions this shower has offered in years.
This short getaway combines two full nights of dune camping under the stars with the comfort of a well-located Cairo hotel on arrival and departure. No technical astronomy knowledge is needed — just warm layers, an open sky, and a bit of patience.

Know before you go
This price is for a shared double tent.
Glamping means "glamorous camping" = tents like smal bungalows with real beds and furniture. Special seating for meals.

Booking Conditions:
Booking and Confirmation: Booking for the tour is subject to availability and must be made in advance. Confirmation of booking follows upon receipt of payment.
Payment: You have to make your payment for the tour in advance according to the specified payment terms. We may require a deposit to secure the booking.
Number of Participants: The tour will take place once a minimum number of participants is reached. Please refer to the tour description for details on the minimum number of participants.
Changes and Adjustments: We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary if necessary for organizational or safety reasons. We will communicate to you all changes will in a timely manner.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made in writing and become effective upon receipt.
Cancellation Fees:
Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: 25% of the total price is retained.
Cancellation between 29 and 15 days before departure: 50% of the total price is retained.
Cancellation within 14 days before departure or no-show: No refund will be granted.
